Team Gnome Hunters:
My name is Jason, and am from Rhinelander, WI. We have crossed paths (more accurately, you have passed us) on the AR circuit. We have raced the Trekkineer ‘07 and the Wild AR 24 in ‘06 as the Northwoods Nightstalkers. I wanted to touch base with a local team, I am voluteering with the PQ staff on their medical team. I look forward to meeting your team and cheering you on. If there is anything I can do to help. please speak up.

Hello Friends and Family (and you too Gnome-boy)
Well we made it through gear check and skills test and Shrub Luver is STILL not going anywhere near a beer or a bottle of Coke.
Rozzi-baby is working on the finer points of ascending and Animal is working with some cool new specs. For my part, I’m looking forward to 10 more days of wondering why I do all this.
Chris (Turtle) and Nick (Neo - please refer to him as “The One”) have been spoiling us.
We’re all pretty sure Don Mann will be doing his best to pamper us over the next 10 days.
See you all when we get back,
Mark

It is 8:30 AM in Big Sky, Montana and the Gnome Hunters are scurrying as they make the last minute preparations for the 10:00 AM start of Primal Quest Montana. The team has been anxiously awaiting this day for the past year and are now standing at the beginning of the end of an incredible journey. As the team toes the start line, they will be overshadowed by the first of many challenges that this 500+ mile course has to offer. This challenge is that of Lone Peak; an 11,000 ft peak that dwarfs the Mountain Village in Big Sky Resort.
The team is ready and waiting to take on this challenge and all the other challenges that they will face over the next ten days.

What a beautiful looking climb to start the race with. From experience, if you are surrounded by bear scat, it is not a good time to throw your bike down and have a tantrum about not wanting to go on. So proud of all of you. Lizard

Hang in there, Gnomies! I am having a blast following your adventures through the website! Brian, Suzanne, Rick and I will be getting together for lunch to talk about how much we wished we were there with you… Seriously, I don’t think either of us is really working… all we do is check the tracking site and email each other all the time… sad…
FUERZA, you guys!!! Trix

Every racer in Minnesota is watching your progress, amazed at your determination. And we are all jealous of your epic adventure — easy for us to be jealouse surrounded by the comforts of home. You inspire us all! I heard there may be a couple gnomes just ahead of you…

Dave and fellow Gnome Hunters,
We have been following the the race since the first day in Big Sky. How exciting. We have been watching other team “utubes”. Especially, the one with the Gallatin River rescues. We haven’t been able to see anything about Gnome Hunters though. We watch the leader board and WOW you guys have moved from #52 to #31. That is a great accomplishment.
Our best wishes are with you as you near the final check points in the race.
Go Gnome Hunters! Can’t wait to see and hear about all your extraordinary experiences.

Hey Gnome Hunters,
Weve been watching you all week and looking for where to leave a message and I finally found a spot. Hope you get it so you know how proud of all of you we are! Its been super great watching you pass teams and hang right in there and the pictures are amazing. We hiked through the woods on the way to a river we flyfished on and thought of you then too cause it was tricky hiking in waders! We also toasted you every night over margeritas. CAnt wait to see you when you get back….GO ROZZIE BABY…YOU ROCK!
